Change your air filters. This can either be with your HVAC system or any air purifiers you may have in your house.
Invest in a good in-room humidifier. As our furnaces kick on, so does dryness. Many experience dry skin during winter months. However, dryness affects our voices too. Keeping a humidifier going in your bedroom at night can really help keep your through and vocal folds hydrated.
Wear a scarf. It isn’t just for fashion. A warm scarf around your throat can actually do a great job of keep the temperature around your voice box regulated.
Stay hydrated. Often people don’t drink as much water when they aren’t hot and sweaty. Keep up with your daily water intake even when you’re sticking indoors.
