Hello all and welcome!
I'd love to tell you a little about me! I have a passion for teaching singing. I love music of all genres. However, I am truly fascinated by how the voice works and love teaching vocal health to my singers.
I received my Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Cleveland Institute of Music in 2010. I then went on to earn my Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Bowling Green State University in 2012. I took time after my graduate program to take some classes in voice science and language development. After I finished my academic pursuits, I began a family and spent a few years as a stay at home mom. In 2018, I began teaching private singing lessons again and have been building my studio ever since.
I now teach students of a wide age range with varying musical interests and goals. I've had many students win spots in elite choirs, get cast in local productions, and succeed in singing competitions. I greatly enjoy helping my students reach their goals.
Beyond what I do in my studio, I am a single mom who loves cooking from scratch, reading romance novels, watching movies, listening to podcasts, and spending time with my two daughters. I love teaching from home to be close to my kids. You may even get to meet my family’s pets! We have a Maine Coon cat named Griffin and a Standard Poodle, named Winston. We also recently received our newest cat, Minnie, from the Cat Distribution System.
Please reach out so we can chat about your goals!
